I think the Bowen has done that route for some time before the Skeena came along

Yes they had said in that documentary about plans to build two more Century Class Ferries. I think they should of built two more then they could of put on on the Bowen Island run and one maybe somewhere else.
As far as that photo it would be the Bowen Queen coming from Fulford as Skeena wasent put into service till later that year. I know the Cumberland was put on the Fulford run for some sailings, but it was mainly the Bowen Queen. I would like to know where she would of docked as all berths in that photo are taken unless she used berth 1 when the Queen left or maybe the Tachek would of been going out. I have seen the Cumberland use berth 1 at Swartz Bay once when I took her.
The Tachek was the #2 boat for the Gulf Islands along with the Cumberland before the Mayne Queen. I also remember the Skeena Queen was put on the Southern Gulf Islands for a few sailings cause there was times when I was on the 9am ferry from Swartz Bay and I seen the Skeena out by Mayne and Pender Islands. Maybe just to get her on different routes.

They should put them on 1 Quadra-Campbell River the main purpose of the Skeena 2 Bowen Island bigger capacity and people sit in their cars the whole trip and 3 Gabriola bigger capacity they should build one more for Fulford

The queens, 1. New west in berth 3 2. The rest are probably the vancouver, saanich, esquimalt or possible but not definitly the victoria.
