Did anybody notice that on the BC Ferries official site that you can now watch the ferries on a webcam like the washington state ones, they only have cams at all the major terminals though, but its still really cool to see how conjested it has been for the past while this summer and then theres the better part watching the vessels leave so check it out!

On the Langdale-inside webcam, I wasn't looking too closely, and I thought that the picture was bogus, because it always seemed to have the same ferry shown on the right-hand side of the water.
Now I take a closer look, and I realize that it's a small island that I see, and that island looks like a C-class to me.
Can anyone else see the resemblance, or am I the special-psycho?

Yeah! I can see the island that looks like a C-Class. It seems so look like Queen of Oak Bay or Queen of Surrey but the funny thing is that Queen of Surrey does that run as well and Queen of Oak Bay does it from time to time to replace the Queen of Surrey. It sure looks like that route was built for those ferries.

The web cams are awesome the only thing im concerend about is the views on some of the terminal you can't see alot of the ferries . Take Horseshoe Bay for example those have the worst view.Even the Bowen Island and Washington State Ferry Cams have a better views then that . BC Ferries should adjust theres like WSF web cams

Yeah. I think they need to relocate the Horseshoe Bay cams, so they they show more dock views. I mean I guess the main purpose is to see the traffic patterns and not the ships, but still it would be cool like WSF to have car cams and dock cams. The best cams I think are Swartz Bay, Tsawwassen, Duke Point, and Departure Bay. Where you can at least see the ships too!

Not replied in over a month on the Langdale cam I noticed something in berth 2 that looked like a V Class but the Esquimalt was at Tsawwassen-Swartz Bay around the time and I don't know if the Esquimalt is in the deas dock or not or any other V Class are at Langdale anybody got a explanation for this

Ive noticed that too but theres actually nothing there because in the summer when Queen of Esquimalt was on that route i saw it in the other berth (the one that always gets used) doing an extra sailing and it still looked like the back end of a V-Class even when there isnt anything there so i think its a tree thats shaped like the back end of a V-Class.

Yeah I have noticed it too. The cam outside the terminal still works though. I think they need some better Horseshoe Bay cams. Maybe some cams where you can actually see the docks. That would be cool!

I have found another webcam link on the Weather Network that shows the Pender Island dock. I don't know which ferries use that dock but I'm pretty sure it would be Cumberland or Mayne or maybe even Nanny. Karl you probably know or someone, so I just thought i would post it on here for you guys to see, and if anyone knows or finds anymore cams post it here. Hmm, it's dark right now so of course it will be alot easier to tell what you're looking at although it might be neat to see one of the ferries in there at night, www.theweathernetwork.com/features/camweather/displaycams.htm?CMBC0033

Ive found another cam that has BC Ferries in them, heres one of Horseshoe Bay: www.westvancouver.com/webcams/hbaycam/ and if you're lucky you can see either a ferry sitting in the dock or either coming in or leaving too.

the pender camera says it is looking towards saturna. if that if the case then that is not a ferry dock you are looking at. look at just after 4 today and if it is a ferry dock you will see the queen of nanaimo

The West Vancouver one is dopesauce, it automatically updates. As of 3:32 this afternoon, the Queen of Surrey is in the berth, and the Bowen Queen is arriving.

I cant see that cam cause it is dark out and you cant see anything, but I think I have seen it before. It dosent show the Pender dock it is looking towards Saturna. But the Queen of Cumberland, Nanny and Mayne Queens all use the Pender dock. The only island the Nanny dosent go to is Saturna.
