well, we started in Pitt Meadows, flew to Tswassen, then to kuper, then to nanaimo harbour (12:00PM) then we flew over bowen island, then over departure bay, then we circled Vancouver harbour a couple of times, before heading back to Pitt Meadows

You bet: Bonne Fete, Happy Anniversary, and many more!
What we need is a balanced transportation system with many options. Helijet, Harbour Air and Harbourlynx are essential parts of the network.
BC Ferries is the most visible part of our coastal transport system, but BCF often encourages the wrong choice by users. The terminals are far away from Vancouver, Victoria and central Nanaimo.
Many folks visiting family and friends don't really need to take a car with them, but the bus services to BCF terminals are not the best. Harbourlynx has the most brilliant location, right by SeaBus and SkyTrain in Vancouver.
It is sad that the Victoria Clipper failed, but I hope that HL's success might revive a Vancouver-Victoria service, too.

Don't worry Harbourlynx Kid...
Grating though your postings may be, *joking* I think I speak for most if not all of the members of this forum when I say that your views and your postings are greatly appreciated.
I would counter that a few people find ME to be grating, what with my (admitedly) rabid defense of the older ferries in the fleet.

Any truth to what was posted on the BC Ferries Club RE: second vessel for Harbourlynx? I wouldn't use HarbourLynx simply b/c I need a car when I'm on the Island, but if there was one to Victoria I'd most definatly be on! I HATE driving from Deep Cove (North Vancouver, not the 'fake' Victoria one) to Tsawwassen

there is going to eb a purchase of a second vessel. im not allowed to tell you were its going to run, or when they are going to buy it, but the run will NOT be to victoria, the last company died because of its victoria run
