Is/was the Garabaldi II a sister to the Nipkish Nicola and Albert J. Savoie (Butchering the spelling)

Yes, She is almost identical to all three of them with the exception that her passenger cabins are longer and that there are also small passenger cabins located on the side of the car deck, those were added later. They use the Nimpkish on that route when she is in refit. I really like this boat and have rode her a couple of times. -Mike!!

Does anyone know if the Garibaldi II route (to Woodfibre?) is open to the public?

I have been on the Garabaldi II twice. If you go down to the terminal at Denner Bay there is a schedule posted and usually I just get on. The crew on her are very nice and you can even take a tour of the mill and a nice hike up there to a lake. -Mike
