Hi, Just tell me what your favourite open vessels are please, anyone who replies can share them with everyone else. And maybe B.C ferries will keep the ones that have the most favourite vote rating.

The NIP like the Tachek with Flugal Horn is a neat ship and my favorite minor ship carrying 50 and under cars and the PR Queen is my favorite but the Bowen is the same type I like it to

I like the Queen of Capilano because of her nice facilities. She's perfect for her 20 minute run to Bowen Island.

I like the Cummerbund too, as I think she looks beautiful with the lines of the superstructure, and how they angle down to the car deck. A very striking look, that always grabs my attention.

I'll just say Quinsam because it's almost identical to the Quinitsa, which is the only open BC Ferry I've been on. If I hadn't been on any, I'd be going with Cumberland.

I am with Sandi and Flugel Horn on this one. I love the Cumbie! She is my favorite. Second would be the Bowen and Mayne. I like the little side lounges on the Bowen and Mayne too. Never that busy alot of the times. The Cumbie is neat cause she has one big passenger deck, also the PR Queen is like that too which is kind of neat.
Hey does anyone know what BC Ferries did with all the old seats that were on the Cowichan and Coquitlam, Sidney SOBC??? They should of kept them and removed all the hard seats on some of the intermediate ferries like the Cumbie Capilano, Bowen Mayne and used those.

Aren't they still the same on the SoBC? They looked the same in the pictures.

Actually you are right about the seats. They are the same they just look different. I guess they still are the same but they just redid them.

Yeah I can't remember what that is called, I think it's called reupolstering (I know, probably not spelled right). So I think they just took off the material that was on there before and new material was put on. Good idea, saves alot of money.
But anyways, I would have to say Quinsam. The only open car deck ferry I remember going on. I might vaguely remember going on the Howe Sound Queen from Crofton-Vesevius or whatever ferry was doing that run somewhere around 1993-5

As I said I like Mill bay, my favourite is the quinsam.
Although I do like quinitsa because she is similar, and the Klitsa looks kinda weird, although nice plus the skeena queen. I like most of them
