I was talking with Scott, Karl and Graham last night, trying to figure out what to do today(June 4). I wanted to go on a Coho day trip, but the guys said it would be better to do an overnight later in the summer. Scott and Karl suggested that we do route 30, because it's cheap. After doing 3 trips on the C-Class Alberni that one day, I think I've overdosed on my "Vitamin C", so route 30 was out of the question. Graham suggested going on a Tsawwassen roundtrip, but I didn't want to wake up ridiculously early on my day off work. We muddled around with ideas for quite a bit, then Scott and Karl came up with the idea of driving up to Crofton, taking the HSQ to SSI, and then taking the Skeena to SwB and back again. We ended up having enough time to Travel on the MV Kuper as well. Graham travelled with us all the way to SwB, then he took the 3pm SOVI back home. I managed to sneak on the wheelhouse of the HSQ for a couple photos. When we were on the Skeena, I was unimpressed with her tarnished bell, so I tried to breathe on it and polish it up with the sleeve of my hoodie, but it didn't work. I think I will start to carry around brass polish for those poor neglected ship's bells. Scott asked a crew member if we could have a peek in the Kuper's wheelhouse, and the answer was yes. We had a good chat with the master of the ship, and I was surprised when he said he was familiar with our forum. The entertaining part of the Kuper sailing was when we were pulling into the berth, and one of the crew members had his binoculars out, looking to see if any of the "local drunks" were passed out on the sidewalks.
I don't remember which times all the ferries sailed at, all I remember is that Karl picked me up at 10am, and I got home around 8:30pm. I got to sleep in a bit, and come home early. You guys can wait for Karl, Scott, and Graham to fill you in on the technical stuff

I hope no one takes my pics and posts them on their blog without crediting me..you know who you are...ugh.
Is it me, or does this report seem like a run-on ramble? I am sorry if it does.
Would it be better if I had posted this in the photos area of the forum?
