A heads up for you. The Esquimalt is scheduled to be moved to Langdale after her regularly scheduled run from Tsawwassen tonight. The ship move crew will then take the Coquitlam to Drydock in North Van. The Alberni will be moved from Dep. Bay tomorrow morning at 4:00 am and resume her usual schedule beginning at 0515 from Duke Point. On May 22nd the Alberni will be removed from service after her final scheduled run from Tsawwassen and begin a 3 day mini refit. She will again be replaced by the Esquimalt for the 3 days.

Interesting how they're taking the Coquitlam to the drydock. I thought they would keep it at Langdale, or Departure Bay. Oh well, I'll have to make a trip down the the drydocks the day we go on the Esquimalt on Sunday. Who's with me?

Me Flugel and Scott are planning to take the 10:30am from Departure Bay on Sunday morning. Anyone want to meet us at Horseshoe Bay earlier around 12:15pm, feel free to do so. We will see the Esquimalt as we come in as she will be there!

Looks like the Coquitlam will be back earlier next week than originally planned. She will be back in service on Wednesday instead of Friday! The Esquimalt will continue to do supplementary service on both route 2 and 3 over the long weekend. According to the service notice.

BCF hasn't said anything on their website yet, but the Coquitlam is supposed to resume service on Tuesday now. We were informed of that today on the Esquimalt.
