Unlike the rest of the ferry trip topics on this forum, this one is mainly for non-group trips, however if you know you are going on a group trip you can include that.
As for myself...I actually have a few ferry trips planned this summer.
First off there is a planned scout camp on Saltspring Island on the weekend of June 17th. We will likely be catching the Nanaimo out of Tsawwassen, and once on Saltspring, will be biking for about three or four hours to the campsite. We will likely be returning via the Skeena Queen and then Swartz Bay-Tsawwassen.
Secondly I will likely be attending the group trip on Galiano Island this July...not much has to be said about that.
Thirdly, for our family camping trip this year, we will likely be doing what we did in 2003, going up the Sunshine Coast and then crossing to Vancouver Island and staying at Long Beach. This will be the third week of July.
And lastly, we may make that long-awaited trip to Victoria this summer...possibly in August.

Well I will be doing the Discovery Coast Passage on July 15th on the Queen of Chilliwack. Other than that a few little ferry trips around here. But that is the big summer trip for us this year! Hope to get on the Galena Bay ferry to that trip! Also the Galiano trip to in July I will be doing as it was my idea!lol!

I'll likely take either Galena Bay - Shelter Bay, or the Kootenay Bay - Balfour routes.......on the way home from a Rocky Mountain vacation.
I'm not too excited about whatever C-Class I might be taking to get off & on the island for that trip......but I'm sure a BC Burger combo will be involved.
Oh, I'll also be sailing on the PRQ and Tenaka this July.

This summer will be a ferry trip that involves me going on more minor vessels. The PRQ,Tenaka, QQll,Kwuna, Nicola.By the end of this trip, I won't have seen the QOOB, HSQ, Kahloke, NImp,Wack,Coq, Tachek. The 2 c's I don't really care about/ Unfortunately I am going on the QOPR 3 times. Where are the Nimpkish and the Tachek? So when are you going on the Tenaka and PRQ HMCS Nanaimo?

Nimpkish is on the mid-coast, serving areas out of Bella Bella.....see the schedule for "mid coast" and you'll find her.
Tachek is on Hornby in Winter, and I think she's a spare in summer.
I'm taking PRQ & Tenaka in July.

The Nimpkish has been servicing most of the Discovery Coast route that the Queen of Chilliwack does in the summer. Instead of going to Port Hardy, the Nimpkish connects Shearwater, Ocean Falls, Klemtu, Bella Bella, and Prince Rupert? She has been up there since the North was put into service up there earlier this year, as she couldn't fit into the smaller docks the Prince Rupert can fit into at those locations listed above. This was supposed to be temporary, but the Nimpkish will probably stay up there now for the rest of her service life, which would probably be when the new ships are put into service up there.

1) One or two trips to Comox via route 30 (Queen of New Westminster or Queen of Alberni) or the Sunshine Coast (Queen of Surrey, Queen of Tsawwassen, Queen of Burnaby) in early August.
2) A biking trip to Mayne. I've biked all the Southern Gulf Islands except Pender, Thetis, Galiano. I drove those islands due to poor weather. I'll be travelling on the Nanaimo or Bowen Queen.
3) The group trip to Galiano on the Nanaimo.
That's all I've got for the summer, however, I'll try to pull together a Inland Ferry trip on Highway 3a.

I haven't planned anything yet. Unfortunately there's no trip to Salt Spring this year, so I'm thinking of something to do. I'll definetly get around to some day trips, but I do want to get away for a few days this summer. Of course there's gonna be July 7th as well. That'll be fun. Again I'll see what happens.

Well it's official now...we will be going to Saltspring Island on the weekend of June 16-18. Probably going over on the Queen of Nanaimo on Friday and bicycling for about three hours to Ruckle Park. We will camp out there for a couple nights and head back by bicycle to Fulford Harbour to catch the Skeena Queen and then one of the Swartz Bay-Tsawwassen ferries.
