Looks like there is a one sail wait at Tsawwassen and it looks like that the 10 pm will be filled along with a few lines outside Tsawwassen, talk about getting clobbered, is there any sort of holiday? or unusual traffic pattern? Usually I expect waits to come form Vancouver Island, not the mainland.

holy smokes, just after 9pm and there is a 2 sailing wait it says. I am checking this from Williams Lake where I am at the moment. Summer weekend traffic I guess! Also the 1045 from Duke is pretty much full at just after 9pm!

Was there any extra sailing from DPB? There was a full lot outside the terminal last night and the 9:25 was full I bet.

The SoBC is doing an extra round trip tonight, by making an 11:00pm sailing from Tsawwassen, and apparently an 11:59 sailing from Swartz Bay....however that works....
There is also an overheight wait from either end at Tsawwassen and Duke Point, but no word of any extra sailings on that route.

Yeah, that's quite the trick; the crossing, unloading, and loading all in 59 minutes. Maybe there's some wierd contractual reason why they have to announce the sailing at 11:59- obviously it's going to be more like 12:50, at the earliest.

re the 11:59 posted sailing time:
I think it might be as simple as that they need to post it as happening "today", or else it won't show up on today's schedule on their webpage. If it's posted as 12:50am, it maybe wouldn't show up on their webpage for today's sailings.
.....or maybe they finally got the hyperdrive fixed.

Heh heh, yeah, maybe the Spirits can travel alot faster than we thought they could!
It's actually probably because any sailing past Midnight is considered tomorrows sailing of course. So instead of having that sailing show up on the Terminal Conditions at a Glance page as an upcoming sailing tomorrow morning, they just say it's at 11:59pm so it shows up as todays upcoming sailing. Oh well, hopefully nobody's relying on that 11:59pm sailing to get them somewhere in Vancouver at a certain time!
