Powell River Queen

Well guess what? I was out and about today, on my way down to get some photos of the Radiance of the Seas at Ogden Point and to my suprise I pass by Point Hope Shipyards and guess what is sitting there! The Powell River Queen. So on my way back I got as close as I could get which is the little side road that goes past the shipyard and I got two shots of her there. Nothing spectacular as there really arent any good areas around the shipyard to get photos. But these are the ones I managed to get.

I passed by there on Sunday and she wasent there so she must of just arrived today or late Sunday. I wish I knew the times that ferries arrive and depart the drydocks. Would be neat to see her sail into the harbour and under the Johnson Street Bridge as they would of had to have raised the bridge for her to sail under.

She was still at Point Hope Shipyard around 1:30pm Friday afternoon. She is suppose to be back tomorrow morning September 30th on the Campbell River to Quadra run. She should be leaving tonight then. Wish I knew what time, lol!
