Well, seeming the Coquitlam will be operating on Route 3 with the Surrey, I've decided to do a round trip on that route tomorrow. Graham and Jordan are interested in attending as well.
Here's the options:
8:45-9:00am - All meet up at Horseshoe Bay 9:20am - Queen of Surrey departs for Langdale 10:00am-Arrive at Langdale, and possibly wait for the Coquitlam to move from Berth 2 to Berth 1. 11:30am - Queen of Coquitlam Departs for Horseshoe Bay
OR
2:00pm - All meet up at Horseshoe Bay 2:30pm - Queen of Coquitlam departs for Langdale 3:10pm- Arrival at Langdale, watch the Coquitlam possibly switch from Berth 1 to Berth 2 4:30pm Queen of Surrey Departs for Horseshoe Bay
Anyways, whoever is interested in attending this small trip, they're more than welcome too. Anyone who's interested, also give some input on which schedule works better for them tomorrow?

Also, I was also thinking about going into North Vancouver either before or after the trip, to get some pics of the John Atlantic Burr. So if anyone's interested in doing that as well, then great!

Suprisingly I am off tommorrow but I dont think I'll be able to make it. I think I will just wait till the Albern trip next Sunday. Is 2:30pm from HSB the last extra sailing for the Coquitlam?? It will be crazy tommorrow on the ferries, lol. Have fun!

Ok, no sense in making another thread for the pictures...But here's some pics from yesterdays trip. Queen of Oak Bay leaving, Queen of Surrey arriving We ended up leaving Horseshoe Bay with a completely empty upper car deck. This is why....we're docking in berth 2 at Langdale! Queen of Coquitlam - Berth 2, Langdale Once we got on to the Surrey, the Coquitlam pulled away from the dock, with nobody except for the crew She ended up going a ways off shore, and started doing "Compass Turns". Yep, she was going in circles. New Seats in the #1 end lounge on the Queen of Coquitlam[/img]

I can't believe they would dock in Berth 2 and have a empty upper car deck must have been her last sailing that day. I like that picture of the Coq in berth 2

Is it not time to convert the single ramp berth at Langdale to double ramp? Lots of reasons to do this, and to do it sooner rather than later.
