A few months ago I recieved a DVD in the mail, from a member on this forum, who no longer participates in any discussion on this form (from what I can see...). This DVD had the movie he made back in 1988, for the crew of the Sunshine Coast Queen, shortly after she had sank. The footage on this movie is amazing, and gives a heck of alot of detail about the Susy Q. The Narrator, which is the member from this forum, tells some of the stories he had heard from various crew members, some are quite funny, and some are a little more serious. Anyways, he wanted me to spread the word about this video, and has copies of it in DVD and VHS up for sale.
What I've been thinking of doing, is making a copy or two in VHS form, and passing them around to interested members. I suppose I could make a preview, but its a little bit more work to upload DVD footage to the internet, than it is to upload VHS footage. Anyways, would anyone be interested in this, and would pass the movie along to another member, via mail, or private meeting or whatever? I can't really give anyone a copy, as that would defeat the purpose of trying to see if anyone was interested in purchasing a copy. What's everyones take on this idea??

Sorry, it's not up for me to decide if I can let anyone copy the DVD for themselves. That would be up to the Creator of the Movie to decide. If you want a copy of the video for yourself, you'd have to send an email to the creator, and have your chequebook ready. I'm just giving people an opportunity to view the movie, as it's really worth seeing.
The Email address of the creator is:

But your willing to "Pass around a copy or two" same thing as coping the DVD.
Can I borrow the DVD for a night to watch? How long is it?

The Creator is selling copies, not me. The movie is half an hour long, and I'm not going to waste like 10 GB of space on my computer, to copy it on to DVD.
I'm willing to make a copy (or two) on VHS, to pass around to interested members, to watch in the privacy of their own home, and then passing it on to the next member. That's my offer, take it or leave it. If you don't like that idea, purchase your own copy, and email the creator. His address is posted above.
