Queens of Vancouver and Coquitlam trip postponed

Well, it looks like we have to set yet a new date for Tsawwassen-Duke Point trip.

Sunday, December 3rd

I don't know if you wanted to keep the same schedule as last time, but I posted it anyway.

Island folk:

• Meet with the Mainlanders at Duke Point @ 12:15 pm
  
• Mainlanders arrive in Nanaimo 12:45 pm
  
• Buy tickets; we sail at 1:05 pm aboard MV Queen of Vancouver
  
• Crossing time is 140 minutes (explore ship, eat lunch, etc.)
  
• Arrival at Tsawwassen, say Teletubie bye-bye to Coastal Insanity and his mainlander minions
  
• buy tickets for 5:45 sailing aboard MV Queen of Coquitlam
  
• Tour Tsawwassen Quay
  
• your ferry boards at 5:30
  
• crossing time is 120 minutes, explore the vessel
  
• your ETA is 7:45, the trip halts here
  

Mainlanders (Coastal Insanity & company)

• We all meet at Tsawwassen at 9:40 am (Chris' "bus" will arrive at 9:50)
  
• Buy tickets for 10:25 am voyage aboard MV Queen of Vancouver
  
• ship sails for 140 minutes; tour vessel for that time period
  
• ETA at DKPT is 12:45 pm; we meet with Island folk in Arrivals
  
• buy tickets for 1:05 Queen of Vancouver
  
• 140 minute crossing time, explore ship
  
• Once making port at Tsawwassen, us mainland folk say our goodbyes to them Islanders
  

And there you have it. The plan that wasn't. And soon will be. This is the third, and hopefully last time we have to postpone this voyage. If you want to go say something....

You can do it the 3rd but we are still trying for tommorrow. I cant do the 3rd. I can do the 2nd but not the 3rd.

Well, I'm busy on both the second and the third...

I'm probably going to do a Gulf Island excursion on the tenth incase anyone is interested. Here's my interary (starts at Tsawwassen):
-Purchase tickets MV Spirit of British Columbia leaves at 1100 bound for Swartz Bay
-ETA is 1235
-Purchase tickets - MV Queen of Cumberland leaves at 1440 bound for Galiano Island
-ETA at Galiano is 1630
-Purchase tickets - MV Queen of Nanaimo leaves at 1705 bound for Tsawwassen
-ETA at Tsawwassen is 1800

If you need me to interpret that into real time let me know.

Now, I don't know if the Queen of Nanaimo will be back before the tenth, so if someone could post here or PM me that would be good. Because I don't want to get my hopes up about the Tsawwassen and then see the Queen of Nanaimo pull around the corner. That would be called "dissapointment."

According to the RBI page you will be sailing onboard the Queen of Nanaimo. Enjoy your trip.
If you want the Queen of Tsawwassen your last day on route 9 will be Dec 9th. Remember things can change if the Nanaimo is delayed in refit
