Well, if you've read the topic, "A December thaw out trip?", then you would have noticed that I did a round trip on the Queen of Cowichan.
Though I didn't do much wandering around of the ship, I did alot of sitting around this time, to enjoy the scenery. Now I don't normally listen in on other peoples conversations, as I like to respect their privacy. But this one caught my ear right away, when I heard from the row of seats behind me....."Hello, my name is Deborah, and I'm wondering if you would like to participate in the BC Ferries customer satisfaction survey..". I immediately turned around with the though that it was Mrs. Marshall. But sorry to disappoint you, Flugel Horn, and some of the other guys on this forum, when I turned around, it was not "The" Deborah Marshall. So I turned around, and listened to what questions were being asked. Some of which were, "Have you travelled on any other Ferries today?", "How often to you travel on the Ferries?", "Have you been noticing our latest improvements, and are you happy with them?", "Did we leave the dock on time?"....and basically just questions like that, with wondering how BC Ferries was doing, and what they could do to serve you better type things. Anyways, once the conversation was over, I was hoping the lady would come up to me and ask those very questions. But no, she probably just thought I was some punk kid, who would wouldn't be able to accuratly answer those questions. So she moved on to the people sitting in the row of seats in front of me. On the way back to the Mainland, another lady was going around with the same survey, asking the same questions, and I was missed again. Oh well.
Anyways, there's crew members patrolling the ships now, wanting the publics opinion, so you may just get asked to participate next time you're on a Ferry.
