www.bcferries.com/gift_shop/index.php
Including their feature item, Eagle Ridge Bluffs Commemorative Arbutus Keychains...
...Well No, not really from the controversial Eagle Ridge Bluffs section of the Sea to Sky hwy. expansion project near Horseshoe Bay terminal, but it smacks of irony so much that I had to use it to start the thread.

Yeah, Karl's right! The online gift shop has been around for 4 years now! (basically since BC Ferries was relaunched as a private company)

Let me jump to T-Terminal's defence.
I just noticed the online gift shop on the BCFS website myself, this past weekend.
So it was new to me too.

I think it has been online for a while but they must have made the link more prominent. I also saw it on the front page for the first time. I got excited thinking they had improved it or offered books or booklets etc. Not so much hehe.

The gift shop has been online for more than a year - maybe two. They now have a link on the home page. That appears to be the only difference. Still just a handfull of items available for sale online.

Woops - I glanced so briefly over the new menu item on their homepage that I Mistook their link containing the word "new" as naturally containing something new because it's displayed alongside news releases, etc.

Ha! I hadn't noticed the gift shop link either ... oh, these aging eyes.
Though it's nice to have a good newstand/gift shop on board, I think it's a bit of a stretch to expect many frequent riders to pay the BCF profit-centre prices from the comfort of home. There's a Zeller's just down the street...
Still, we can hope that tourists impressed by our great ferries will buy some more BCF stuff after they go home.
PS: Nice touch, the Eagle Bluffs arbutus souvenirs. I'm incensed by the stupid destruction in West Vancouver. There will be an extra supply of bulldozed arbutus wood coming soon.
In fairness, maybe some driftwood objets d'art ("actual wood swallowed by Pacificat Explorer and sculpted en route by the vessel's propulsion system") should be offered, too.
