One year ago, to this date, the Queen of the North left Deas for the very last time. She then headed for Tsawwassen to get whatever final touches were needed, before heading up North, on March 5th. Photos by Kevin Stapleton

Her northbound positioning cruise was I think March 2nd or 3rd as I took the Queen of Prince Rupert southbound March 4th arriving in TSA March 5th.

I remember watching the Queen of The North from a cliff near where I live as she sailed behind Lasqueti Island and into Sabine Channle, Never will I see her again. Now I am so glad I did go and watch her that day.
A few hours later I spotted the Mv Nimpkish as she headed northbound.
