"Brace Yourselves we are about to Crash" "The BC Ferry Workers on the dock were yelling to me Run! Run! So that's when I realized this guy isn't going to stop" "Horseshoe Bay isn big enough for the Nanaimo Ferry" "That isn't were the Ferry's Supposed to be!" Just some of the Many Quotes from that Famous incident where the Queen of Oak Harbour...er, Oak Bay lost that teeny tiny Cotter Pin and went on a joy ride straight into the marina. Maybe this will refresh you? and the CTV Article and Videos to go with it www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/20050701/ferry_crash_050630?s_name=&no_ads=

Yup, I'll always remember that day - my first daughter was born a few hours before!

Oh, Right! Happy 2nd Birthday to your first daughter, Bethany. Your kids seem to be born on some notable "C" Class dates.
Bethany on the day the Oak Bay thought the marina was the dock...I'm going to be calling Sewells Marina Berth 0 from now on.
And your 2nd Daughter, Victoria on the day the day the Alberni left Burrard Drydock for Departure Bay from her 6 month MLU.

I would imagine it was he-double hockey sticks, to try and keep the passengers happy for the 9 hours that you were stuck onboard.

I remember Global News showing that amateur video of the crash, and the horn being blasted.
Later I was down at Ambleside and I watched tugs pull to Oaky to the drydock.

I remember Global News showing... And I remember CTV news, but I'd rather remember CBC, better yet BBC, so? Just joking, of course; of course I do not wish you all watched BBC or atleast CBC, of course not
