Looks like on Feb 27th the Queen of Tsawwassen is going to be replacing the Chilliwack on the Saltery Bay run while the Chilliwack goes in for refit. So what happened to the Burnaby refit?? I thought the Tsawwassen was going up there after DB??

I just suspected the Burnaby refit would come next I never knew that would happen Strange the Chilliwack refit often happens at the end of May. I don't get it why they did one now

Maybe some unknown but minor mechanical problem we don't know about. You're right, usually the Chilliwack refit is done before she begins working the Discovery Coast route.

So now the Twa will take over for the Chilliwack, then the Burnaby, then back to Earls Cove???

That's indeed what will happen IF a refit is planned for the Queen of Burnaby.
The Queen of Chilliwack will come down for its "annual refit" on Feb. 27, meaning the refit will not occur prior to the start-up of the Discovery Coast service as it has in the recent past.
The expected return date for the Chilliwack at Saltery Bay is Apr. 3. After this time, the Tsawwassen would scoot over to fill in for the Burnaby on the Comox-Powell River run, but I don't think a refit for her is planned for 2006.
I say this after looking in though some documents related to Northern Sunshine Coast public consultations. What I see is two refits planned for "fiscal year 2005" and none for "fiscal year 2006" -- whatever that means.
The Discovery Coast service doesn't start up until June 6. Perhaps a refit of the Burnaby would take up most of April and May and when she returned to Little River, it would be close to when the Chilliwack needs to head up to Port Hardy. Then the Tsawwassen's back to Saltery.
Some speculating here, obviously. But timing sure is everything, eh?

Ohh ok, now this is making sense. The Burnabys refit is going to be a bit longer this time to prepare it for the it's going to recieve that will be similar to the Nannys. Correct? So that after the summer, it will head down to Vancouver again, and go through pretty much the same process the Nanny went through, and then the same eventually with the New Westminster. Someone posted about this a few months ago.

Thats probably it her refit is going to be shorter than usual like the Nanny's before her Upgrade so they can plan where everything is going to go then she stays on route 17 for the summer than in September she goes in for the upgrade and in the New Year she comes out and I go photo taking crazy or something like that
