The MV Klitsa will replace the MV Kahloke on the Chemainus-Thetis-Kuper route beginning with the afternoon sailings on Saturday, February 25.
The MV Kahloke will move to temporarily service on the Denman-Hornby route, starting with the 7:30 am sailing from Hornby Island on Sunday.
In turn, the MV Tachek will head to the Sunshine Coast to provide relief on the Powell River-Texada Island route while the regular North Island Princess goes in for its annual refit.
The MV Tachek takes over beginning with the 10:10 pm sailing from Texada Island.
The North Island Princess and MV Tachek are expected to return to their regular assignments on April 1.

YES! I shall go on her if possible, in the duration of Spring Break! I've never before been on the Tachek, or the Klitsa, and I shall go on them both if possible. Excellent oppertunity.

If either Shane or PRQ16 have a microphone, maybe you could submit a horn or two to Chris for his new minor ferries section???

I haven't found a recorder yet. I was going to go to Radio Shack today and buy one but I ended up doing other things.

Just a camcorder will do, capture the horn on the camcorder, like Chris does, and then use a microphone to record the horns to a .wav file, then send it to Chris.

Just a camcorder will do, capture the horn on the camcorder, like Chris does, and then use a microphone to record the horns to a .wav file, then send it to Chris. That was my old method of doing it. I ended up getting a hookup to my computer that I could hook my camera up to, and I would upload the video to the computer, and just make that section of the video (where the horn was) and made it into an audio file. Unfortuneatly my video camera stopped working on the day of the Garibaldi tour, so I'm stuck with using my digital camera for recording it. Pretty sketchy on the roads tonight.......just about lost it on the Sea to Sky coming home. No more driving until the roads are ploughed, haha.
