The sailing scheduled to depart Horseshoe Bay at 7:20 a.m. this morning en route to Langdale left at 8:30 a.m.
The ship was delayed because of a small oil leak. The crew inspected the vessel and determined it was coming from one of the engines. That engine has been shut down.
As a result, the ship is currently one hour and 10 minutes behind schedule.

The Queen of Coquitlam will hold at Langdale until the scheduled 10:20 a.m. sailing. This will allow crew time to repair the engine and get the ship back on schedule.
The 8:20 a.m. sailing from Langdale and the 9:20 a.m. sailing from Horseshoe Bay were cancelled as a result.

With berth one still closed at Langdale, it should be a fun day for the crew.

Maybe they'll reel in a replacement until it's fixed (that is if they don't fix it soon)

It's a bad time for a replacement, unless they brought the Esquimalt out from Swartz Bay, if they absolutely had to. The Vancouver and Bowen Queen are both out for refit.

You're forgetting this is the low time of year so you wouldn't need the Bowen Queen and a V Class! Just a V Class

You're forgetting this is the low time of year so you wouldn't need the Bowen Queen and a V Class! Just a V Class I know. I never meant for them to run the route together. Just saying, that if they needed a replacement, all of the previous replacements are a little tied up at the moment.
