I've never seen any note of this, so I thought I'd mention it. I noticed that the Queen of Nanaimo is no longer set up for aft foot-passenger loading. Here's a pic: community.webshots.com/photo/548411366/2068116540087036356OmJQJQThis is where the port-aft loading gates were; the other side is the same. The cameras, atleast when this photo was taken, remain.

That's pretty strange that they would do that. But then again, how many Minor routes have a foot passenger ramp? I think Tsawwassen, and Horseshoe Bay are the only places that provide a foot passenger ramp for a Minor Ferry. But single ended ferries dock bow to at those docks anyway. But otherwise, it's just tradition for a foot passenger to simply board via the car deck ramp on the minors.

I was thinking that SB would have accomodation for aft-passenger-deck loading (other than at the high-volume berth 1) of V/B Class ships, but then remembered that there aren't any original overhead walkways left there: community.webshots.com/photo/548383290/2160993370087036356JEaDEvI wonder how they'll rebuild the walkway, considering that the upper lounge that this shot was taken from has the single pupose of serving that walkway.
