BC Ferries announced Friday that the Queen of Saanich will provide supplemental service on the Tsawwassen – Swartz Bay route next week. The first sailing will be on Monday, April 10:
Depart Swartz Bay - 6:00 a.m.
The vessel will remain at Tsawwwasen until Wednesday, April 12 when the following sailings will be provided:
Depart Tsawwassen - 2:00 p.m. Depart Swartz Bay - 4:00 p.m. Depart Tsawwassen - 6:00 p.m.
Reservations are available for all four sailings.

I've been wondering (along with others) if this is because of work (or something else?) being done to the Saanich at Tsawwassen (doesn't Swartz Bay have the same capabilities?).
Or, could this possibly mean that the Saanich needs work done at nearby Deas?
