Here is the service notice. Looks like Berth One broke yesterday as the Coq got so far behind they ended up canceling a round trip. She is starting to run behind today too:
Berth one at Langdale terminal is closed for repair work through Monday, April 24.
During the berth one closure, the Queen of Coquitlam will utilize berth two. As berth two is a single level ramp, vehicles on the upper deck must utilize the articulating ramp on the ship, which takes extra time.
The unscheduled closure is required to replace a seal in the main ramp cylinder at berth one.
The regular Langdale to Horseshoe Bay schedule remains in place during the berth closure.
BC Ferries thanks customers for their patience as we complete this repair work at Langdale. We look forward to resuming our regular loading pattern on Tuesday, April 25.

They seem to be doing this a lot.
Kind of interesting, if you ask me.

I remember quite a few years ago when they were using berth 2 for all traffic quite intresting they take you up the left ramp than onto the articulating ramp then they direct you to the Langdale end of the ship and when they arrive in Horseshoe Bay the cars circle the back of the ship and load off the Horseshoe Bay side

I wonder why Berth 1 at Langdale always seems to break every few months....It doesn't get anymore wear and tear as any other Ferry ramp gets, besides the Swartz Bay and Tsawwassen berths, which don't seem to break down too often...(from what I've seen)
