BC Ferries is reporting delays on route 7 this morning due to a rock slide about 6 km south of Earls Cove.
The RCMP has asked BC Ferries not to discharge traffic from the Queen of Chilliwack at Earls Cove because the highway was blocked. The sailing that departed Saltery Bay at 5:40 am turned back to Saltery Bay.
RCMP now report the highway is now open and BC Ferries will resume service at 7:30 am from Saltery Bay.
