Just looking at the Horeshoe Bay webcam, and Oak Bay is sitting in berth 1. www.westvancouver.com/webcams/hbaycam/The Esquimalt was taken off of route 3, and is now trying to run in Oak Bays spot, with the Cowichan and Coquitlam. Here are the two service notices.... The Queen of Oak Bay, which operates on the Horseshoe Bay - Departure Bay route is experiencing a mechanical problem and is currently at reduced speed. The crossing time is approximately two hours, instead of the usual one hour and thirty-five minutes. The ship will be removed from service this afternoon to facilitate repairs. The Queen of Esquimalt is being temporarily redeployed from the Langdale run and will sail in place of the Oak Bay at 3:05 pm from Horseshoe Bay and at 5:35 pm from Departure Bay. Engineers are working hard to fix the problem. We hope to have the Queen of Oak Bay back in service this evening. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Repairs have been made to the Queen of Oak Bay. The vessel will resume service with the scheduled 7:20 pm sailing exit Horseshoe Bay.
