According to the RBI, the Queen of Cowichan will be taken out of service Tuesday, October 10th, until November 10th. The Queen of Coquitlam will be the replacement. I guess we'll be seeing a service notice sometime later this week.

I was down at the Lonsdale Quay today, and The Cowichan is now in the drydock!

That's quite a large bulker sitting beside the drydock. Makes the ferry look small.

When the Cowichan had her first major refit in 1996, they extended her elevator up to Deck 6 back then.
