That type of detailed report is what I'm hoping for re the Queen of the North.
So the Oakie report came out approx 15 months after incident. If Q-North's report follows same timing, that would put the report date at mid-June 2007.
Back to the Oakie, it will be interesting to see the reactions to this report in the next few days......and by that I mean the detailed responses and not just the rhetoric. I'm curious at what the final result of this report will be, and how it will impact future ship return-to-service transitions.

I think it's safe to say that BCF will likely have closer inspections and higher requirements for a ship to return to service.... well, at least we can hope...

I noticed something wierd onmy travels this weekend on the Queen Of Cowichan. did they ever have Asbestos? because i was walking through the vessel, and found one of those RED Circle with the Arrow attached, which we learned on the Sidney was for asbestos. So. Did she ever get asbestos in the ship somewhere?
