It's supposed to get pretty windy over the next few days, so expect some sailing cancellations. The winds have started on the coast already.....

around 11:30pm there was a service notice saying the last sailing from Duke Point was cancelled and also there was no 9:10pm sailing out of TSA so I assume that was cancelled to but no mention of that one. Be pretty cool if it was a stormy trip tommorrow!

Good thing we didn't do a round trip on the Coquitlam today though. She's not going back to Tsawwassen now.

ok so it looks like the Queen of Saanich departed Swartz Bay about 7:15pm for TSA as the SOVI had some mechanical difficulties and was at TSA for a bit and dident leave TSA till about 6:56pm bound for SB. Which makes her 5pm sailing just under 2 hours late so they send the Saanich out and I assume the SOVI will be tied up at SB when she arrives like around 8:30 pm as the SOBC is the 9pm out of SB which will be late which means the Saanich will do the 9pm from TSA I would assume. Looks like the Oak Bay is about 30 mins behind the Cowichan on route to Departure Bay as the Cowichan is running almost 2 hours behind the 5pm left at 6:47pm from HSB and the Oak Bay left at 7:15pm so there should be two ferries arriving at Departure Bay a half hour apart. Not sure if the Cowichan will go back to HSB as the 9pm is the Oak Bay from DB unless there is alot of leave behinds. The Coquitlam on route 30 should sail from Duke Point at 8:15pm and the Vancouver at 9:10pm TSA. Service has been restored to Bowen Isand and the Texada run has been suspended due to high winds but the Burnaby is still running which should cause some conflict at Powell River when the Burnaby comes in.
