The Tachek is on her way south to Deas as well. This means that as of late tomorrow, there will be 4 ships at deas, Tachek, Nimpkish, Chilliwack, and Bowen queen. (although I think that the Nimpkish has gone north already, somebody correct me if I'm wrong.)

Thanks for the heads up, Nick, it's very much appreciated. Any word on the ETA for the Tachek? For anyone looking to watch the Chilliwack on her arrival tomorrow, the closest public view to see her turning into Deas, assisted by tugs, is at the foot of No. 5 Rd.; there's public parking a few hundred metres west of there along the river. It's difficult to see if the Nimpkish is still there judging by passing by on Hwy. 99 because of her low profile so your guess is as good as mine on her still being there.

It does not say anything about an ETA for the Tachek. It doesn't even give a departure time, only september 17.

I guess that if passenger schedules are a fickle thing, then internal out of service schedules are by nature quite unreliable. After arriving an hour early at Deas Island to capture the arrival, I was met with the sight of her already docked; oh well, not only was it worth it to get out to Deas Island on such a beautiful day, it also made way for an even more interesting day for myself, including and emergency stop on the SkyTrain among other highlights.
