Sounds like a long day for you Shane. Hopefully everybody has a good time. But if I was there I could have gotton us to alot more places on the ship. Well I guess after this we'll have to plan that second trip we've been thinking about. Who thinks about sometime after Remembrance Day and Before the Holiday Season? and if that doesn't work then January or another time when the weather is nicer

Well, I'm free ON Rememberance day, which is the best for moi, and for me it would preferably be on a Sunday or Friday on one of my days off. But hey, that's my schedule, don't have to if you don't want to. I'm in it for the chilli dogs.

Is there any possible way of Curtis getting a ride with Shane, or however he plans to get down there...?
I honestly don't see the point in making the effort to go out to Earls Cove again in like two weeks, just to see the bridge and possibly the engine room of the Chilliwack. If Curtis can't get a ride from Shane this weekend, then we should look at coming again maybe in the Spring. It's quite a big deal for us to go out to Earls Cove. Especially for Karl, as he has to come to the Mainland from Victoria, and spend the night in a hotel the night before the trip, and possibly the night after.
Just so I know....Who's planning on coming with me? I would like to have a good idea of who's driving and who's not, just so I know if it will be worth bringing my Parents Gas Guzzling Ford Expedition, or my economical Honda Prelude.

I'll just plan to drive up them. It will be easier as I dont know what Jordan is up to. If Graham is willing to pay gas money and half the cost I have no problem with driving up.

(I really need to keep more up to date)
I am on SGI and return home Saturday morning to Vancouver. This trip interests me. I can't drive so doing a Croften then tailing it to Duke Point isn't an option.

Is there any possible way of Curtis getting a ride with Shane, or however he plans to get down there...? I'm probably going down but I don't know about rides, I could be even biking down to Saltery Bay for all I know... Im going to be taking the 11:20 to Earls Cove to meet up with you guys on the Wack, then I will be hanging out with you guys till about 3 or so at Saltery Bay... I only have enough money for the trip down and then back...

I am in leaving in a few mins to go to Van. So me and Graham will see you guys either in the lineup for Langdale or on the Queen of Surrey. I might go and grab a bite to eat for breakfast so maybe if we dont see each other in the lineup we should just meet by the Cafeteria on the Surrey. See everyone tommorrow and Shane at Earls Cove by the dock.

Ok, I'm out of here in two minutes. It's still nice and dark out, with a layer of frost on everything! Should be an interesting drive to Horseshoe Bay.....

It was quite a trip... personally I rank it up there with the circlepac trip, mainly because I had never been aboard the 'Chilliwack. Stories to come after I upload all these pics; my favorite was the drunkard without a nav-light on his dinghy, using a paddle, in the Queen of Surrey's path, on the edge of a fog bank, at the end of dusk, who had a conversation with the bridge crew via loud-speaker. Graham how was your swim in the creek? I just wish that someone had taken a picture; it was quite the "kodak moment"

Well I just got back off the Puyallup and when in that fog bank, gee, smart to stay at the front where the surrey blows the horn every few minutes. Chris almost got away with recording our reaction to the horn but it scared the c*rap out of everyone. That Surrey trip was very intresting though how we had a drunken guy saying friends are coming, yet they could not even find him. Ended up delaying people at HSB ten minutes due to the ordeal. Overall, it was fairly intresting on this trip.
