QB Teen, The Skeena Queen is on the Fulford run because the Bowen Queen didn't carry enough cars. Pretty straightforward. Saltspring's population has grown a lot since the change, and commuters care most about being able to get their cars on the ferry to get to work or appointments, and not so much about the number of seats in the passenger lounge, or whether there's a coffee bar. As to the car deck accomodations on the PRQ; perhaps if you had a bit more contact with handicapped or elderly people, you might be a bit more sensitive to those concerns. But, hey, it's been a nice weekend- maybe you just got a bit too much sun.

Now that I've come to my senses, I've actually thought of a somewhat better proposal. See what you think of this:
Queen of Cumberland replaces the Bowen Queen on extra summer sailings on Route 9. The Bowen Queen will take the place of the Queen of Cumberland and assist the Mayne Queen on Route 5.

Cumberland isent licensed or something to cross the strait of georgia! So she cant do that route! At least that is why I think wouldent be able to do the run!

Well, the Bowen Queen is likely worse. If the Queen of Cumberland cannot cross Georgia Strait, I doubt very much that the Bowen Queen should be doing it too.

well TC says she can, so she can. and I think that other minor ships can't make the run simply because they haven't been given clearance by TC (i.e. BCFS hasn't tried).
