yeah no kidding. They should just be lucky they have a ferry service. It may not be the best at times when there are replacements but ships need refits and so on, so yeah they should stop whining and deal with it.

you know, way back in the late seventies, my folks moved from North Van and settled into retirement on the Sunshine Coast. I told them at the time that they were now dependent on the ferry service. You move there, you have to live with it. They thought no problem. Now they just complain like the rest of them.  |

I agree. It's just like the people who move next to an airport and complain about the noise. It's really annoying. You live somewhere that is dependent on the ferries you have to deal with it!

One of the first buildings in North Vancouver was 6 Field Engineer Company's Armoury, built in 1912. People have been cpomplaing about the noise for years... yet it was built there before most (if not all) residents were alive!
