There is still a flaw in what you're saying. There is a large industry in Europe, and there is not here. If you want to keep the jobs local, you do pay more.
And who buys used BC Ferries? No one really, by the time they're put out to pasture no major operator would purchase them, they're too far gone. You can't post in one thread we keep ships too long and then question their primary resale value. It doesn't make sense.

I just recieved an Email from BCFerries, they say the JAB will be an auxilary vessel, it has not arrived yet. Well, the Kahloke will be staying on the Denman-Hornby route.
