*Standing Up*....It would be cool to see ferries like the Osprey down here. But wasn't it designed to go in Lakes? But I'm sure if they used that design anyway they would modify it for the Salt Water.

I agree with HL. K class are good ships and you never have problems with them, mabye larger K class style ships could be built?

Anything that floats and can carry passengers and cars safely, plus a very big important part - is easy to fix - like things called an engine and gear box and for Miss Union a clutch that works....
oh yeah it should look good - and be cheap to run...just like a nice women...low cost - not high maintance...

Guess Iam a bit bias, but more Cumberland class .....would be great, just put a better class of Rads in them this time.

the reason that the RADS dont work, and that they only have 10, is because when they were being built the company lookd at thier designs and realised...OMG its too short, so they lopped them in the middle, and added like 5 feet to each of them. so that the props would be in the water. thats why they are unique.

Who is the person or committee that spec's out the vessel they need within BCFS ? Why don't we hear anything about them in the press?
No one seems to take credit for any design flaws or spec's like in Engines - gear boxes and for that matter interior layouts/design - why not?
Are they not proud of there work ?

There is alot more wrong than you think , but its too late to change now. New legs are the answer.
