The Nanny isent a piece of crap! She hasent broken down lately! Might as well say the New West and Burnaby are too. I dont think the Nanny should recieve a 19 million refit though! They dont need to redo the passenger areas! Do more mechanical and leave the passenger areas alone, unless they just do some minor adjustments!

yeah, like get rid of the asbestos ceilings on the Nanny. The Burnaby is fine.

strong skier is right they need to upgrade the interiors of the V class to the interior of the Queen of Sannich, she wasn't that bad of a vessel

The upgrade to the Nanaimo does make sense. According to one of her Captains, she will be around until at least 2015.

The v-class is absoulute crap, theey should not get refit, we will need some other ferries so keep the newest of the v-class which I mean burnaby class and refit them more mechanically than interierly.

I am freinds with the Cheif Steward on the Queen of Saanich, she once let me go down into the Engine Room, for a tour. Twice she has let me up to the Bridge, once was with 2 school freinds when I went on the Saanich on 17th June.
Derrick and Steven said they had fun up there and learned something as well.
A coastal Freighter was in Nanaimo's and Saanich's path into Tsawwassen, they radiod the captain on it and we didn't have a collision thanks to that.
Derrick and Steven realy enjoyed themselves.

i think we should organise a tour. cause between all of us. i think we could get into the engine room and wheelhouse for every boat in the BCF, Translink, and Harbourlynx Fleets.
