alot of the lego ferries that i make are the smaller ones of the fleet because i try to make them as realistic as possible in scale and appearance.

yes we did. Even I have one, In fact I just installed an articulating ramp onto mine today. Pretty good considering how sleep deprived I am.

my vessel went through 3 different configs while i experimented, going from a double decker. to the config she is now, shes twice as long as she used to be.

those look pretty cool. the 2 deck one looks kind of like wsf's Steel Electric Class and the one deck one looks like a ministry of transportation inland ferry.

i thought she looked too short when she was double decked, so i took her and took the top deck, extended it to match the lower deck, built the hull up, and then slapped her in there. voila! ship = Longer.

it took alot of thinking, and now i just have to find some cars that might work to scale, i used most of the lego up, building the 2 berths and the ship, i had 2 ships at one point, but i didn't like the look of one, so i killed it to make lego for the expansion of the 1st vessel

Speaking of the Garibaldi II, I've been thinking about riding my bike down to Darrel Bay to get some pics of her...maybe even go for a ride too, but I haven't decided yet.

i was just about to post a thread asking for people to post pictures of the garibaldi. if you do go there do u think u can get some pics off the car deck, passenger lounge, wheel house and other places on the ship?

im just starting to build a scale replica of the nimpkish. I will try to borrow a camera or something to take pics and il post them on my yahoo site which has no pictures on it yet
