We are just going to Long Beach for a few days again this year...we are very low on budget. We bought this old mobile home two years ago and it turned out to be rotten. We spent that much time just working on fixing all that rot on the outside...we're only just starting the inside. If we had known we'd probably of went out and bought a fairly new one. The inside is easy though and will only take a couple months MAX. Money toward this and toward property tax and all the tax and bill crap which was done recently has restricted our holidays. If we could, we'd probably be going up somewhere around Mount Robson for a week. It's not always easy living on a 10 acre property with a 3,000 SF fully equipped house in the Fraser Valley.

I always change my mind! I will save the Oaky trip and do both the Oaky and Surrey as yesterday I was just going to do the Oaky!

Damn, we're only going for a measly three days. We're leaving Monday and coming back Thursday.

Anyone ever go fishing off the West Coast of Vancouver Island? Apparently we are. One trip I'd like to do one summer is the Queen Charlotte's. Head over to the Island via Horseshoe Bay-Departure Bay, drive north and stop in Campbell River for the night. The next day, continue north and stop in Port Hardy for the night (I'd camp, no hotels). The next morning, catch the Inside Passage ferry. You'll be on it all day so stay in Rupert overnight. Head over to the Queen Charlotte's the next morning and stay for a few days, maybe even drive (or boat) over to the west side of the Islands. Maybe even go to Graham Island via the Kwuna. Come back the same way (or drive down from Rupert, but I prefer the ferries) and come back from the Island through Duke Point. I'd like to do that one summer, maybe stay away for a couple weeks or so.

Yeah I would love to take a trip to the Queen Charlotte Islands too! It would be interesting places to see and I would love to go on the Queen of Prince Rupert too!
