Although I plan to take the Mayne Q instead of the Cumberland, I'm sure that if the Cumberland is having problems, or can't transit Active Pass or Navy Channel, that the entire route 5 schedule will be affected.

yeah probably, Why is it that it costs way more to travel from Tsawwassen to the Gulf Islands than the Gulf Islands to Tsawwassen??? Shouldent it be the same? It costs more than the Vancouver Island to Mainland ferries at 10.75 to go to the Gulf Islands from Tsawwassen!

It seems to be based on some policy. All routes to Salt Spring Island are more expensive on the way there then on the way back. Route 9 is actually the only route that charges for the return journey; both routes 4 and 6 are free when travelling from Salt Spring Island.

I'm down at my grandparent's place in Point Robberts right now, and with a telescope and a view of Sturdies Bay, I can tell you that the Mayne Queen just left a few minutes ago. Seeing as the scheduled leave time is 6pm, she's running about 30 minutes behind.

This really shouldn't be happening on a ship that old. Not to knock what preventative maintenance you guys do.

This really shouldn't be happening on a ship that old. Not to knock what preventative maintenance you guys do. lets just say, if you just repainted your car every so many years instead of rebuilding the engine too, sooner or later time catches up and things break down??? funny that...... Get what I am saying

the money is spent where the customer sees it not were the ships engineers need it
