What ferry do YOU want to go on first, on your trips. I will select Mill bay, I have never been on her and she is pretty rare to find a ship like it. It has it's secrets, Quinsam would be next on my list.

I vote Queen of Prince Rupert, it looks good, I want to see it, I have been on Spirit Of Vancouver Island and Spirit of B.C but I live in Alberta, Quinsam is staying at my Grandparents place with me in Brentwood Bay. I am only 10, nearly 11.

I would have to say the Queen of Prince Rupert as I also have never been on her! Second would be the Queen of the North and then the Queen of Chilliwack! I am going on the Queen of the North cruise Oct 1st. Dont know when I will get the chance to go on the Prince Rupert and Chilliwack though!

I want to Go on Mill bay not only because of her age and that I have never been on her, but it has it's secrets and I dreamt two nights ago that I was on a Mill bay ferry with Orange and Red paint on the inside passenger lounge and there were windows on it. But later in the dream it was bombed.

I'm up for Tenaka! Partly because she's the prettiest mid-size vessel I've seen: But mostly because she goes to Cortes from Quadra, from Eden to Paradise:

Harry: Bootsie's pics are great. She/he reminds me of our long-gone black cat Wolfe (so named because we lived on Montcalm Street at the time). Best of all: your photo of MV Quinsam, sparkling in the sun. Was that very long ago? Quinsam last week was rust-streaked and sorely in need of a repaint. On Quinsam, a wet, tired dog: Oh, oh, this ain't a pet forum. But I'll sneak in one more pic of Bo, posing in a hoodoo near Descanso Bay. Heck, he got there via Quinsam and Coquitlam. He has sailed exactly as many ferry miles as me in the last five years.

Yes, they do always travel with us. Our kids are grown, so the mutts are our constant companions. Aside from full-family trips (Jeannie, me, Bo and Virginia) like Bella Coola, Quadra Island and a couple of Salt Spring journeys; I have taken Bo on many ferry adventures on foot. We've done Bowen Island several times; I stretched our field to include Nanaimo 3 times this year. Oh, it's harder than it should be. The miserable dog pen on Deck 2 is a dark, cold, noisy place. Coq and Cow have no outside port, so the scenery passes by unseen while we huddle in our iron cell. Bo, the smiling optimist, doesn't mind. We're off on another great adventure. He snoozes until we approach Departure Bay .. then he prances while I clip his leash on and we go out to the gloomy deck. He nearly pulls my arm off, he's so eager to be first off. I swear, Bo kisses Vancouver Island soil (BCF pavement) right off the ramp, then hauls me down Stewart Avenue until I can release him on the long waterfront esplanade. Newcastle Island is his favourite destination, and mine, too. Bo's Newcastle grin:
