I mean models like the Saltspring Queen, this one. but more detailed vehicle deck and little cars and people on board. When I get bored with them, I'll probably sell them, I am planning to make a few this or next year. Probably Mill bay and Quinsam. If you would like one when I sell them, I will keep in touch with you guys and tell you when you can buy one.

I'll try and sell them near everyone, maybe HSB Restuarant near the Terminal and Marina, or on a street in Vancouver/North Vancouver, or Tsawassen Terminal. I will try to make some V's and C's in 2006/2007

I had a model of the Quadra Queen II in my yard growing up. It was used as a float for May Day (Quadra's annual festival) and we got it afterwards. It was still painted black, white and yellow from the Ministry of Highways days.
If you want a RC Ferry, build it. Go into a hobby shop and see what you can use to make a frame and outer skin. This wouldn't be a weekend project, and it might take a couple tries to get the look right, but it would be a great thing to have and use when it's completed.
PS. Don't build an RC Oak Bay. You'll crash into all the other boats!

Heheh, I was thinking of the Minors, I have an Idea for actually carrying 16 cars on da mill bay, H0/00 Scale and realistic details, yellow line car lanes, with black tarmac, then little people on the car deck, I might buy a tug-boat then build a barge that H0/00 scale trains can fit onto, with rails on the barge.

See if you can bring it down onto Durrance Lake near Brentwood Bay when it's finished, or I can come up to Nanaimo and float one of mine with yours on long lake, I like the little Island on Long lake. Mill bay is going to be made first, then Quinsam.

There's an Island on Long Lake?

A tiny one, go into the Ramada Car park and then walk around to long lake on a wooden type of floating bridge, there is an island there. I 'm thinking of making the Mill bay out of Lollypop/Popsicle sticks, then paint her and put an engine in her, propellers and little cars on the vessel.

im talking about Fibreglass. the stuff that custom sound manufatures use to make sub box's when they dont want to use Particle board, or MDF.
