Don't do the Quinsam, Quinsam looks beuitiful right now with BC's Colours, we don't need the last vessel camouflaged against the water.

I can prove it too, I saw the Surrey yesterday, when me and my step-brother rode to HSB. She still has the old writing.

Someone said a long time ago that they had a paint job with the old BCF colours just before BCF went private and so Oak Bay and Surreys paint wasn't all that bad 2 years ago, so they covered up the old expo lines and put the new blue stipe and painted the funnel but didn't bother to rewrite the name for some reason. I guess they thought it wasn't necessary until they went into midlife. But then they went with putting the new writing on the Alberni, but she still has awhile before she goes in so I guess they just decided they may as well do it then. I swear the last time I was on the Coquitlam I could see the old writing name under the new, I swear. I'll have to look at it again next time I'm on the foot passenger ramp going on to her. Or even better when Oak Bay comes back and then go on her on an evening sailing to Nanaimo when it's still light out and get a pic of it.

Well the Coq went into Mid-Life a few months before BCF became private

Yeah, I don't even think they stripped her down as much as they did to the Cowichan and Oak Bay. It seems like they get more ideas on what to upgrade each time a vessel goes in. The Queen of Alberni will probably be the best when she comes back from it because she'll have all of the new ideas.
