There is already a cruise ship forum with some members from the yahoo board who started it. Anyone is free to come to this one, we need more people on this one so come on if you want. ca.groups.yahoo.com/group/cruiseships_bc/You have to sign up to read and post messages. But come in and see!

Yeah, when I was in Oregon 2 years ago, my friend bought a gigantic lollipop at candy store in Eugene. When he got back to school, our socials teacher said "Merde, You're going to look like an american when you're done that!"
I wouldn't badmouth the Americans too much. I know we have at least one on this board (Dan)

It's kinda like how Western Canada votes Conservative all the time, and Ontario and the Maritimes, always vote Liberal.
At least our current Prime Minister can speak both of our official languages, unlike the last one.

The Federal Liberals suck, I hope the Conservatives do throw them off the throne, Stephen Harper is WAY better than PAUL, especially because marriages would be traditional with him and he might of ACCEPTED the defense system the US wants to put up here, Paul was dumb for declining that.

I support Harper's economic policies as I do Gordon Campbell's, but I support Martin on few things like Health Care, and other social policies. At this point it's time for the Liberals to go. They are corrupt. The NDP are all morons and the greens have some good ideas, but they don't seem to have a good platform or any voter support. At this point, it looks like the Conservatives are our only choice besides the Liberals.

I dunno. They were probaly unions protesting about broken promises, and such.
I have nothing against workers in unions. There are some people that run the unions who are annoying, and just whine constantly.
As a matter of fact, I know some teachers who are very right wing and even support the federal Conservatives, and the BC Liberals, and they absolutely hate the union (BCTF). I remember back when BCTF had that job action thing in 2001-2002, when I was in Grade 9, They weren't marking things, or running extra-cirriculars, because of BCTF orders, so the students had a walk-out, and I remember my Phys-ed teacher was even supporting us, and he still evaluated our class and posted marks. The Band teacher at my school also went against union orders, by running extra cirriculars through the job action.
Union workers are good people, it's just the people who run them that can get in the way and cause problems for the the consumers or population.
