Nothing much here, might either go camping at Chilliwack Lake (chances are low as it will probably rain and I probably won't get up to it) or my grandma will come down from Willams Lake. Here in Fort Langley, however, there is the highlight of the Victoria Day long weekend: the May Day Parade.

Well in the parade I know one of my friends is in it as a part of a high school marching band but I have to stay because I am in the U.S. **** it!

Plans keep changing everyday, I was gonna go up to Kamloops to see family but then that went nowhere, and then I was gonna go see all my friends on the Island and go over tonight but here I am still telling you this. But now it looks like I have to work each of the 4 days I have off now and on top of that help one of my friends move down the road a ways.

I'm catchin' the ferry to Departure bay Friday afternoon, going over to Nanaimo to get a look at the E&N Railway's scalehouse at the Wellcox Yard before they tear it down, then drive down to Victoria, spend the weekend with my parents and catch the ferry back from Victoria on Monday.

Well, this will be my lost post until Monday, as I'm about to leave to write my Geography 12 test then leave for the ferry directly from school. Have a good weekend everyone!

For better or worse, I've picked this long weekend for a little holiday with lots of ferry rides. Between Saturday and Wednesday I hope to hit the following - Langdale, Powell River, Texada Island, Comox, Mill Bay, Galiano Island, Pender or Saltspring, Victoria, and back home to Vancouver again.

This long weekend brings a first for the year/season. The very first 6am sailings since last summer are scheduled for route 1 out of both Tsawwassen and Swartz Bay on tuesday, and I'll be on the one out of Tsawwassen.
I'll be taking the Mill Bay, return, out of Brentwood Bay in order to get some shots of the old gal before she's altered, as I hear that her pilot house will be extended during her upcoming refit. I'll post here once I've posted the pics on my webshots site.
