Darn it!! I missed the BC Ferries float cause I left at like 9:30am to get down to the parade to meet some friends so I must of missed it. I never saw the first hour or the parade. I did see a Victoria Express, you know the passenger ferry from Victoria to Port Angeles float towards the end of it. Rain held off except about 15 mins towards the end a light shower started but it's fine now. I have seen the BC Ferries float before.

I've seen it before in a picture but not live because I used to have a paper route and I had to deliver on that day and I wasn't doing it so I missed the parade and I was mad as hell when I found out there was a BCF float

Don't forget a camera! It would be nice to see some photos I'm back and I got some photos. I'l post them when they're developed and photoshopped. they will be on ym website. |

Well there was no rain but it was broken clouds. Figures, it's all cleared up now as of 9:30.

Yeah looks like the Queen of Saanich will be almost empty heading back to Swartz Bay. That would be a nice quiet sailing!
According to the current conditions the Queen of Esquimalt is listed as doing a 10:10pm sailing from Langdale and the Queen of Surrey an 11:00pm sailing from Horseshoe Bay, is this correct?? It also says the Esquimalt did a 8:15pm departure from Departure Bay. So how could she do a 8:15 from Naniamo and a 10:10 sailing from Langdale???

ah I bet they 10:10 sailing they mean the Queen of Surrey from Langdale as the Queen of Surrey leaves Horseshoe Bay at 9:15, then goes back to Horsehoe Bay at 10:10 then back to Langdale at 11pm. So this means the Esquimalt will be in Horseshoe Bay overnight or maybe sail empty back to Naniamo!
