Hello all, I have got the new forum forums.viewbcferries.com up and running. It of course needs a look and logo etc. Come and see and make the changes you all want that aren't going to happen here (I guess getting married really does suck all the fun out of life). Cya all over there. |

So are we abandoning this forum?? That new forum is pretty cool but I also think we should still use this one too as John was the one who set it up, so I dont know what he would think if no one used this anymore and was using another one. But this forum has definately slowed down the Yahoo one. I havent posted on there for a long time. Should still have all three forums going.  |

Since John got married - he hasn't been on the forum maintaining it. This is the problem. Now we have guests going ramp-ed, only one 2 forums for ferries, no general discussion etc. Seems he has lost interest in running this forum or is so busy he just doesn't have the time at all (notice his site isn't updated anymore).

Yeah he hasn't updated his site since May last year anway I just signed up on the new forum I think we should update the on the stuff we don't have on this forum.

i think a modded forum is nice. but the new one doesn't seem to work You are required to verify your e-mail address before you can post. That might be your problem. |

you have to validate your e-mail address by clicking the link in the e-mail that was sent to your e-mail address.
for now e-mail validation has been disabled as long as people don't abuse the board, also of note your e-mail address is kept private at all times since if someone wants to contact you by e-mail, they must use a form (so they don't see your e-mail address)

You can switch to none WYSIWYG in the user options area. Lack? how it is full of features and a new version is on the horizon.

Use this forum because then we don't have to reregister. We don't need a new one eventually we'll clog the internet and have a world wide system failure, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, so lets just use this forum. Its a good one.

Mac, I'm quite fond on seeing your new Website, but I just think two forums is enough (by far, one would be enough for me if it's this busy).
