Karl - why not re-view the tape - show and give us a shorten version - of the outcome. Grade it out of 5 - been great and 1 been crap.

Does anyone know where the Mayne Queen is??? Is she at Deas?? Cause the Bowen Queen is filling in for her on the southern gulf island run. I dont know for how long or what's happening with the Mayne Queen. I think she is probably in refit somewhere.

Only the Queen of Prince Rupert and the non-BC Ferries ship Star of the Seas were at Deas when I passed it today.

Mr Engineer, is the run to Pender Island pretty popular because I see on the schedules the Cumbie for today Friday starting with the 6:20 sailing just goes over and back to Pender then again 8pm. It seems every evening the Cumbie just goes to Pender for two roundtrips. I know her schedule ;D Every Cumberland sailing except the 10:20 and 4:10 sailings go to Pender. And also one of the early morning sailings, actually also the 8:30am sailing is to Pender too. Do you ever sail to Saturna?? Or is it just tranfers now to the Mayne Queen??? Seems like the Mayne Queen does all the longer runs in the evening. What are your schedules for Saturday and Sunday?? Where does she sail and what times?? I know she sails more on Saturday than the Mayne Queen. Just curious!

Speaking of long Gulf Islands runs, I just got a bunch of books from the Vancouver Public Library book sale, and in one about victoria from 1957, it talks about taking the Motor Princess (later: Pender Queen) for and *8* hour cruise around the Gulf Islands!
BTW: the book sale (At VPL central branch on Georgia street) ends sunday, if anyone's wondering, and books are constantly being put out, so you're never too late.
