I think all 3 Pacificats are still in North Van. If they were to leave We'd here about in the North Shore News, or now the Outlook now that the North Shore News building on Lonsdale caught fire and gutted the place.

But the deck length and set up is very similer, i see the fastcats in that.

yeah, but the fast cats have a flat bow that would not work well in open waters. hence the 10 ton front and back doors.

OK here is the web site - showing that the Fast Cat's are for sale - check out where they said "In Turkey" www.dolabani.com/brokerageeng/pv226.htmTHey have posted a lot of info on them - some I don't think is correct - so comments pls. I know that some of you have confirmed that they are still in Vancouver - but you can now understand who or what is trying to sell them - WMG ?

That's weird. I never heard about that. Something like that might come up in the North Shore News.

So a part from the fact they are still in North Van - in the past - they had all 3 listed. This time if you look - and go to there home page (The broker that is) - you will only see one vessel listed as for sale.
Price is $20M dollars each.
Interesting comment about starting there engines - I would though the same - at least once a week.

nah. usually sthey are on shore power, and dont require a engine start, but maybe they just wanted to make sure that she would still start.

The reason for turning over the engines - firing them up is to make sure all the systems work - you just can't do that via shore power.
How are you going to presure test systems and lub the engines Plus gearboxes ect....via shore power ?
