Well when I took the Cowichan a week ago on a Wednesay going over from Naniamo on the 10:30 sailing and coming back on the 5pm from Horseshoe Bay the snack bar was closed both trips and it wasent really that busy. Most times I have been on the Horseshoe Bay ferries has been during the summer when it's really busy.
I have seen the SOVI in berth 2 at Swartz Bay which is a smaller berth. The SOBC has been in berth 3 at Tsawwassen also. So how come they can fit into smaller berths at Tsawwassen and Swartz Bay but they would need to make the berths at Naniamo and Horseshoe Bay bigger?? Are the Naniamo and Horseshoe Bay berths specificly designed for the C class? or are the smaller than berth 4 and 3 at Tsawwassen??

Hmm I guess the HSB and DPB docks would work for the Spirits...But what about the foot passenger ramps? Hmm haven't seen a Spirit in a long time? What do the people that work on BCF's have to say

they would fit. it would only take minor modifications to put the Spirits on the HSB - DPB run. Like less then 10,000 worth of welds and steel

The dock at Tswassen will be modified so that berth 4 and 5 can accomadate both super c and spirit. When the super c's arrive.

are they going to be designed the same? if the super c was designed the same. it would save alot of time in haveing to build new docks

The logical answer to this is yes. I don't think BCF would have a ship built that doesn't fit their docks
