I like the Saanich because the insides have been slightly redone, but I travel on the Vancouver slightly more because I usually take the 8am from Tswwassen.

Saanich, because I am freinds with the Cheif Steward on the Queen of Saanich, she once let me go down into the Engine Room, for a tour. Twice she has let me up to the Bridge, once was with 2 school freinds when I went on the Saanich on 17th June.

Queen of Saanich! Like her newer/fancy interior! I also like the classic Queen of Vancouver and Esquimalt interior too!

Although I really like the interior of the Saanich, I'm not too fond of the space sacrificed in the reno, particularily the space taken by the massive gift shop. Here you have a class of ships that were lifted, adding dozens more cars (and people), only barely sufficiently compensated by the upper solarium turned interior lounge (Bannerman's book "The Ships of British Columbia" questions whether this would be enough space even way back in 1985), and you take away a massive ammount of lounge space with a gift shop (the size of which seems appropriate for an S-Class, not a V-Class), and don't even compensate with more lounge space where the gift shop used to be (now used for the chief steward's office).
For me, the negatives outweigh the positives.

lol Don't get me wrong, I love the style of the Saanich, almost art deco, just not enough room.

1: Queen of Esquimalt because my father used to work on her the most at Yarrows in Victoria. 2: Queen of Victoria, rode her the most when I was little.

In the Lounge on the Queen of Esquimalt, when I was going to the Sunshine Coast to help run a scouting event. He was siting there reading a book. He's a really nice guy.

I've been on all 4 (Van, Vic, Saaninch, Esquimalt). I think I was 6 years old when I went on the Queen of Victoria for the last time.
