Which type of ferry would you want to travel on at night to look at the scenery on a clear full moon night and on what route?...even though on some routes it is hard to see anything

My choice would have been Saltery Bay-Earls Cove but I would also want to be on the Sprits

the best route is probably swartz bay to fulford. spring evening on the last sailing from swartz. sunroof open listening to rock 101 all request 9er drinking a beer after a long day at work and a trip from tsawwassen. or on the deck of the nanny on the late night friday sailing from tsawwassen to long harbor. again having a good after work beer. remember though only one beer on the ferry ride or you risk drinking and driving. www.saveourferries.com

For me I would have to say any ferry out of Tsawwassen on a clear night is awesome, when you can see the moon, the clear sky, the lights of Vancouver, being out on deck is great on nights like those. I chose the Spirit ships but also the Queen of Saanich along with that is neat to be on. The Duke Point run would be neat at sunset to take a cruise. Also another favorite of mine to be on at night is the Queen of Cumberland through the Gulf Islands. Again, a clear night, a weekday or late sailing with hardly anyone on her, is great.

i'd say any run si great on a clear night, especially when going past Vancouver and seeing the lights of The Lions Gate Bridge on the HB-DB route

If there were a night run through the Gulf Islands (Q of Nanaimo's route) that would be my choice. Some damp winter days, it's almost twilight at noon .. so that's my vote.
